China Capital Restaurant in High Point

This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. No other restaurant can compete. The service is top notch and the staff always makes me feel at home. They also offer the real deal Chinese food. I wish they had dim sum, that would really take this place over the top.

I live in Thomasville where there are only sub-par to terrible Chinese restaurants. I love China Capital in high point. Fantastic fresh food and speedy service with a pleasant atmosphere.

Orange beef is the best on the planet. Restaurant has been there forever, both the food and staff will keep it open forever. Always friendly and food always signature superior!

The pork ribs and some other type of meat on a skewer was very tough.

Freshly cooked Chinese food. I had #10. HONEY garlic chicken. I had extra spicy. Very good portion.

Legitimately the best REAL Chinese food in Central North Carolina. Reminds me of an amazing place in Cincinnati Ohio and another in NYC. You don't find many actual great restaurants here in the Highpoint/Winston/Greensboro area that are affordable for the average person. This is a real steal in value! You won't be sorry you went here.

Always delicious, always fresh. Best hot and sour soup anywhere. Lo mein is always excellent, shrimp and mixed vegetables top notch. They make their own duck sauce and it's to die for. Very reasonable prices. My favorite Chinese sit down restaurant.

Ordered hunan chicken at 9:30pm and ate half of the plate after a long day of work. Didn’t think the chicken had much flavor, as it was drowned in sauce, but I did enjoy the broccoli. Here is where it gets weird. I heat half of my leftovers for lunch the next day. Food spent all of 14 hrs on fridge, but when I eat the chicken it tastes rancid. It was definitely spoiled. My guess is they reuse and push food dates past the okay point. Maybe the breaded chicken sells more often and they don’t have to sell a spoiled portion. Never have I had food, even McDonald’s, that couldn’t keep in the fridge for a half day. Using old food may save you a dollar today but losing customers will cost you many dollars.

Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Triad. We only order hot tea here, it's great. Pork Egg Foo Young is consistently great. Won Ton Soup is perfect. The food always pleases.

We LOVE this local restaurant and wish they would consider opening for curbside take out.As soon as you all are open again, we will be at your door and ready to place our order or to call it in as we usually do.This restaurant is one of my favorites for sesame chicken and egg rolls.

Decided to try China Capital based on all the good reviews, and I wasn't disappointed! Got there early for dinner, but there were already several groups of people seated and eating, plus a few more folks waiting for take-out orders. That's always a good sign, so I sat down and placed my order. Food arrived very quickly, and was hot, fresh, and quite tasty! The portion was generous, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely come back again to try some of their other dishes. I don't live in High Point, but if all their food is as good as what I had tonight, then it will be worth the drive!

With a grade of 97 or 98 this is a very good place to eat! We eat here a couple of times a week and the food is always excellent! The customer service is above and beyond what it should be! They are so friendly! Whether dining in or taking carryout you will be a happy camper!

Some of the best Chinese food available in High Point... And they've been a favorite establishment with locals for decades. No, they don't deliver, and they don't do buffet. But if you want to sit down and enjoy your food, and do it for no more than you might pay at any Chinese takeaway, then you cannot beat the atmosphere here. Also, for those who would like to be a little more adventurous, they have a traditional Chinese menu. Just ask for it.

Food was delicious and the service was exceptionally fast

Lunch specials are delicious. We had Kung No and Honey Spicy. Dumplings are also terrific!

The BEST Chinese food in the area, by far....

Best Chinese food we've found since moving to North Carolina! We've tried take-out. We've looked for a nice, reasonably priced sit down restaurant to no avail, and finally we tried China Capital! Everything tastes fresh, there's actually a kick to the kung bo chicken. Definitely worth adding to your regular eat out routine!

I'm giving this restaurant 1 star do to the fact that today I went to use the bathroom and I come back to find my table cleaned off and they are sitting another couple. That's the last time I will go there. I am boycotting this restaurant due to the way, to me it seems, they treated me. Oh they were nice, but I take it that they just want my money and that's all. I was gone from the table no more than five minutes. It's been over a decade since I was last there.
